My girl friend, Christine, who has participated in the audition of American Idol, in fact is a shy and cute girl. On the show, she sang a lyric song. Though some audiences there criticized her for not singing well enough to advance the next round, I personally think her talent of being a professional composer can make up for the singing part. She was very brave to stand on that stage, being and showing herself to so many people, who made me admire her more. However, when she sat on a chair and sang the songs composed by herself with a whole new dressing style in the second round, I was very disappointed, not by her singing but by the lovely glasses she worn, which was a big mistake in my opinion.

The glasses itself is very pretty yet it does not go well with her pure, fresh and simple image and style. To some degree, the glasses even breaks up her adorable dressing style and make her look odd. Why? Let’s have a look. The glasses she wore are black with bold square frames. As we all know, black implies cool and cold. Whereas her original personality looks a little indifferent, since her face seldom full of smiles and emotional expressions during her shows. With black glasses, she seems more far away from “amiability”. Then it does not surprise me that she was eliminated in the second round. A lesson she should learn is choosing right types of glasses is very crucial, especially in the important occasions, such as competitions.

Every one knows it, but the hardest part is how to make it. Being a dresser as well as a sculptor, pay more attention to people’s dressing is my habit. Even when I look for a BF, the dressing style which reflected his personality mainly determines the first impression. My hobby is surfing the internet to search the fashionable series of dressings.
